People say that the Lord controls the wind, that the Lord controls the seas; but how many do you hear say, “The Lord controls me!” We need to say, “Lord control me!”

Pastor Jerry shared how the first charismatic prayer group he attended the people shared what Jesus had done for them. The focus was on JESUS! If we surrender to God, abide in Him, Jesus says in John 16:23, 24 that we can ask what we will, and it will be done for us. “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Be conscious of Jesus, our Savior, and He will divinely interrupt your schedule and change the atmosphere. Nothing can block the plan of God. He has a plan, and He will perform it! The Apostle John prayed, “I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers! (3 John v.1)

Why do we come to church? We come together because of Jesus! Come Lord Jesus, we need you! The Gospel is the best prescription we can take! We are here today because of Jesus!

There may be things that want to divide us, but Jesus wants to unite us! Jesus said, “Live by My Word, feed on My Word” (Matthew 7:24). We are one in Christ! Psalm 133 says, How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity…For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”

Pastor Jerry shares a prophetic word and vision he received when attending a leadership conference in Toronto in June…” If in the vineyard there is new wine – there is an anointing.” In a vision he saw an airplane sky writing these words across the sky!

Jesus is the vine; we are the branches. (John 15:1) We are connected to Jesus! We are dependent on Jesus! The Apostle Paul makes this statement, “I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day “(2 Timothy 1:12 NIV).

No matter what we are going through we are to concentrate on Jesus. Read the Word! The purpose of the Bible is to tell you about Jesus! “The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy!” (Revelation 19:10). Jesus said in John 14:9, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father, “and in John 14:6 Jesus says, “No man comes to the Father except through Me.”

You have a purpose! That is the reason Jesus came to have freedom of reign in people’s lives. These are desperate days! The Apostle Paul says, “… I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:8).

Jesus is enough! It's not your opinion that the world needs. The world needs Jesus! Let eyes be susceptible to the Lord Jesus!
